DESCRIPTION: These records support the agency's function to market the state as a destination for the motion picture, television, and commercial industries in order to promote job creation and increase exposure to the state (Utah Code 63N-8-101(2) (2015)). Records document motion pictures that are partially or entirely filmed in-state. Information may include lists of local staff used in the production and locations used for filming, as well as applications from production companies that applied to the agency to participate in the Motion Picture Incentive Program.
