DESCRIPTION: The Services for Students At Risk section submits a performance report each fiscal year to the U.S._Department of Education regarding programs it administers and funds under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA, P.L_99-457). This report includes a list of state operated programs receiving chapter 1 funds, including the number of students served total and by age group, descriptions of the program, and use of funds; local education agency (school district) counts of chapter 1 eligible students and expenditures; and tables and graphs indicating the number of students with different types of handicaps.
