UCA 16-10-13(3) requires the division to keep a record of all processes, notices and demands served upon it. The code does not specify how long the record is to be kept or why. Discussion with the staff shows that they have no reference to the file after a year. However, due to the specific code reference, the potential legal consequences of the record, and the relatively small volume, a five year retention is recommended.
