DESCRIPTION: These files document ordinances and policies adopted by political subdivisions in accordance with the provisions of the Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA) (UCA 63G-2-701 (2009)). Political subdivisions have the option of adopting a separate ordinance (municipalities and counties) or policy (school districts and special districts) which allows the agency to modify provisions of GRAMA. The local agencies are required to submit a copy of the ordinance/policy to the State Archives within thirty days of its effective date. These files include copies of ordinances or policies, amendments and revisions, policy/ordinance summaries, and related correspondence.
