APPRAISAL

Administrative Historical

Records not duplicated elsewhere that document how the office is organized and how it functions, its pattern of action, policies, procedures, and achievements are of long-term value and should be retained. However, records dealing with routine matters should be weeded out when no longer needed. Of these, records under "B" relate to the office organization, staffing, and communications; personnel; supplies and services, equipment requests and receipts; use of space and utilities; and records that are duplicates. Records under "A" are notices such as memoranda and other papers that do not serve as the basis of official actions.
